Hi, I’m Cindy!

Deciding to begin therapy is a big step, and finding the right therapist can feel daunting. Here, I’d like to share a little about the way I work with clients and a bit about myself so you can get a sense of whether I might be a good fit for you.

As a CBT therapist, I work with you to understand the patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be keeping you stuck. I aim is not only to help you through what you’re facing now, but to equip you with tools you can carry with you for life. This is why CBT is sometimes described as ‘the world’s worst business model’, because we help our clients become their own therapist!

Anxiety & Trauma

I support people with different types of anxiety, including panic attacks, social anxiety, OCD, phobias, and intrusive thoughts. I also work with the impact of trauma, whether that’s PTSD or other ways past experiences continue to cause distress.

Depression

Low mood and depression can affect every part of life, from your energy and sleep to how you see yourself and the future. CBT is a highly effective approach for depression, helping you break out of unhelpful cycles and reconnect with the things that give you purpose and motivation.

Confidence & Self-esteem

Whether it’s speaking up, believing in yourself, or navigating big life changes like divorce, illness or career stress, I work with people who want to feel stronger and more grounded.

Workplace & NHS Support

Alongside private practice, I also work within the NHS, supporting frontline healthcare professionals. This has given me a deep understanding of the pressures of high-stakes environments and their impact on mental health.

A little more about me

I’m originally from Texas and have lived in the UK for over 20 years. Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, approachable, and practical. My goal is to make therapy a safe, comfortable space where we focus on meaningful change.

If you’re thinking about therapy, you don’t have to do it alone.

I currently offer online sessions via Zoom and Microsoft Teams, so you can access support wherever you’re based in the UK.
