About Cindy

Cindy Cassidy is a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Confidence Coach, and Lecturer.

Cindy runs a private therapy and coaching practice where she supports clients facing anxiety, low self-esteem, intrusive thoughts, and major life transitions. Her approach is structured, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based techniques, helping clients quiet their inner critic and reconnect with who they really are.

As a coach, Cindy specialises in building self-confidence and resilience, drawing on cognitive behavioural principles to help individuals move past self-doubt and take practical steps toward lasting change.

Cindy also works within the NHS, providing psychological support to frontline healthcare professionals. This has deepened her expertise in managing stress, burnout, and the emotional toll of helping roles.

As a trainer and lecturer, Cindy teaches on the MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling at the University of Suffolk, where she is also a clinical supervisor. Her teaching is informed by her real-world experience, and she is passionate about supporting the next generation of CBT practitioners.

Originally from Texas, Cindy has lived in the UK for over 20 years and works with clients from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds. Known for her warm, down-to-earth style, clients often say they feel safe, seen, and supported in her sessions—something she takes great care to cultivate.
